How long does it take to deliver and install an OfficePod?

Once your order is confirmed, delivery and installation typically take 4–6 weeks from the time of order, depending on current demand and your location. The installation process itself takes 5–8 days, as most of the parts are pre-assembled for quicker setup.

Do I need any permits to install an OfficePod in my backyard?

In the Eastside area, no building permit is required for structures under 200 sq. ft., and all of our OfficePods fall within this size limit. However, an electrical permit is required, and we’ll obtain that for you as part of the installation process.

If you live outside the Eastside area or have specific concerns, we recommend checking with your local zoning office. Our team will provide any necessary documentation or guidance to ensure compliance.

What are the setback requirements for an OfficePod in Redmond, Woodinville, Bellevue, and Kirkland, WA?

Setback requirements vary slightly across these cities but generally follow similar guidelines:

  • Side and Rear Setbacks: At least 5 feet from the side and rear property lines in all four cities.

  • Front Setback: Sheds are not allowed in the front yard in any of these cities.

  • Permits: A building permit is not required for structures 200 square feet or smaller, as long as they meet setback and zoning regulations.

Is the OfficePod insulated and weatherproof?

Yes, the OfficePod is designed with high-quality insulation and a weatherproof exterior to keep it comfortable in all seasons. It’s suitable for use in both cold winters and hot summers, ensuring a consistent indoor environment no matter the weather.

Is the OfficePod soundproof?
